Steel Structure

How long does it take to erect a pre-engineered steel building?

Erection time depends on building size, complexity, and crew size. General guidelines: a 1000m² single-story building takes 2-3 weeks with a 10-person crew; 3000-5000m² takes 4-6 weeks; 10,000m²+ takes 8-12 weeks. These timelines assume foundations are complete and materials are on-site. Add 2-4 weeks for cladding and 1-2 weeks for accessories (doors, windows, gutters). Total from foundation start to building handover: 3-4 months for typical industrial buildings. Weather delays, site access issues, and crane availability can extend timelines.
